Delivery process

We use a range of shipping services to send orders securely to residential and business addresses, as well as PO boxes. Using multiple providers means uMeds can offer fast and convenient delivery to almost anywhere in Australia.

Parcels are packaged in a discreet box or satchel, and you will be required to be home at the time of delivery.

 

Dispensing timeframe

The pharmacy will aim to dispense your medication within 1 business day and we will notify you once your package is ready for shipping or collection. In some cases, the overall timeframe may extend beyond 3 business days depending on several factors, such as TGA approval or stock availability.

 

 

Warehouse

If stock needs to be transferred from the warehouse to the pharmacy, this may take 1–3 business days for standard delivery orders.

Pharmacy

Once the pharmacy has the medicine in stock, the pharmacist will dispense your prescription and prepare it for delivery or collection. This typically takes 1–2 business days for standard delivery orders.

We offer a range of delivery services to accommodate your needs. Each service operates slightly differently, as outlined below.


Disclaimer: Delivery options will be shown at checkout when available. The availability of a delivery option will be dependent on a number of factors including stock availability, delivery area and the time and date your order is made. The pharmacy and our delivery partners will aim to deliver your medicine or have it ready for collection within the timeframe indicated by us when you place your order, but we cannot guarantee firm delivery or collection dates or times.

 

Click & Collect $0
  • Valid ID required
  • Ready in 1-3 business days
  • Collect directly from dispensing pharmacy
  • If your order is not collected within 7 days our support team may reach out to discuss the next steps

Standard $15
Startrack
  • Signature required
  • 1-3 business days
  • Available for residential, business, PO box and Parcel Collect addresses
  • If delivery is unsuccessful, order is taken to the closest post office and ID will be required to collect

Same Day $20
This Afternoon
  • Valid ID required
  • Delivered same day, between 1pm-5pm
  • Available for residential and business addresses
  • If delivery is unsuccessful:
    • One additional delivery attempt will be made on the next business day
    • If additional attempt is unsuccessful, order is returned to the pharmacy and sent via Standard delivery
This Evening
  • Signature required
  • Delivered same day, between 5pm-9pm
  • Available for residential addresses
  • If delivery is unsuccessful:
    • Your parcel will be returned to the sender. Your order will then be resent using the Standard delivery option, which usually arrives in 1–3 business days.

 

Track your order

Delivery Orders

Once your order has been dispensed by the pharmacy, it will be packaged and booked for collection by the selected courier. Your tracking number may appear before it becomes active.

Tracking will become live once the courier collects and scans your parcel. The courier will provide updates via email and SMS, so please monitor these messages closely.

Disclaimer: It may take up to 24-48 business hours to receive the tracking link for orders dispatched via standard delivery.

How to track in the uMeds portal:

  1. Log in to your uMeds account
  2. Select Order History from the left navigation menu

  3. Locate the relevant order
  4. If the order is marked “Shipped by pharmacy”, select Track delivery to view live tracking

Tips for smooth delivery

Shipping address

  • Please make sure to include your specific unit number and the correct post code.
  • All orders will be shipped to the address listed on your profile, please make sure that this is up to date. This can be updated during checkout if required.
  • Due to courier delivery restrictions, some medications cannot be delivered through parcel locker networks. As a result, we are unable to deliver these medications to parcel lockers.

Redirection

It’s important to make sure your details and your shipping address is correct and up to date before placing an order. If your order has been dispensed by the pharmacy and requires redirection to a different address, please contact uMeds. Our patient experience team will contact our delivery partner and request redirection.

Disclaimer: For same day deliveries, a redirection request may be rejected due to the eligible post codes of delivery for these services.

 

Click & Collect Orders

Your medication will be available for collection from the dispensing pharmacy directly instead of having it delivered. You’ll be notified by email and SMS once your order is ready for collection, do not attend the pharmacy until you receive this notification.

You can also find the collection status in uMeds once your order is marked as Shipped by pharmacy.
