Order payments

Once you finalise your order, you’ll be taken directly to the checkout page to complete payment.  You can choose to pay by debit or credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. 

 

Apple Pay and Google Pay

You’ll need to have Apple Pay or Google Pay already set up on your device in order to be able to use them for payment.

To pay by Apple Pay or Google Pay, follow the steps below:

  1. In the checkout page, select the payment option you’d like to use.



     
  2. Follow the prompts to complete your payment. 


If you receive an error regarding your shipping address, please make sure the address listed in your Apple Wallet or Google Pay account is the same as your uMeds shipping address. 

For Apple Pay, you can check this by following the steps below:

  1. Go to your device “Settings”, select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, under “transaction defaults”, select “Shipping Address” and update as needed.
  2. Go to your device “Settings”, select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, select the card you would like to use, under “Billing Address”, you can view and edit your address as needed.

Paying with Afterpay

We now offer Afterpay as a flexible payment option. Afterpay allows you to split the cost of your order into four equal fortnightly payments, with no additional fees when paid on time.

How it works:

  1. Select Afterpay at checkout.
  2. Log in or create an Afterpay account.
  3. Pay the first instalment today, and the remaining three instalments will be automatically deducted every two weeks.

Key things to know:

  • Available for eligible orders placed online.
  • You must be over 18 years old and meet Afterpay’s approval criteria.
  • Late fees may apply if a payment is missed.

Paying with PayPal

We now offer PayPal as a payment option. PayPal enables fast and secure checkout with flexible payment methods, so you don’t need to enter your details every time you make a purchase.

Eligible customers can also use PayPal Pay in 4, which lets you split the cost of your order into four equal fortnightly payments, with no additional fees when payments are made on time.

How it works:

  1. Select PayPal at checkout.
  2. Log in or create a PayPal account.

Debit or credit card

uMeds accept Visa, Matercard and American Express, with no surcharge. Your debit or credit card details are not saved in uMeds’ system, so you will need to enter them manually each time you order.

To pay by debit or credit card, you can follow the steps below:

  1. In the checkout page, select the payment option “Credit card”. 


     
  2. Enter your card details in the required fields. 
     
  3. Select “Continue to payment” to finalise your order. 


     
  4. You’ll then be taken to a confirmation page where you can review your order.

 

Prepaid Cards

If you’re unable to use the options listed above, we recommend looking into the Australia Post Everyday Mastercard. This is a prepaid card that you can buy from your local Australia Post Office. It can be used to pay for your orders, similar to a debit or credit card.

 

Payment Instalments

If you’d like to pay for your order in instalments, you can pay by Zip Pay. To do so, you’ll need to set up a Zip account and generate a single use card for payment.

We don’t currently offer Deferit or humm as a payment option. 

 

Refunds

If your order is cancelled or cannot be fulfilled, you’ll receive a full refund via your original method of payment. Refunds can take up to 10 business days to process and reflect back in your bank account.
